The “Good Time” film among candidates for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival

The Hercules Film Fund recently announced that the”Good Time” film was chosen to compete at the 70th Cannes Film Festival. More specifically, “Good Time” will be one of 18 films to claim Palme d’Or after a 6 month review process where 1.800 films were screened to committee members. The world premiere of the film will take place on the 25th of May in Cannes.

“Good Time” is a drama film directed by Joshua and Benjamin Safdie, and produced by Sebastian Bear-McClard, Oscar Boyson, Terry Dougas and Paris Kasidokostas Latsis. Furthermore, Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Jason Leigh are starring in the movie, which was shot in New York City in 2016 and is expected to be released in US cinemas in mid-2017.

The Hercules Film Fund is a special purpose fund managed by Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis. It focuses on funding independent film productions, mainly in the US and Europe, as well.
