Japanese Film Festival at “Michael Cacoyannis” Foundation to focus on power of music

The Japanese Film Festival taking place from February 15 to February 18 at the “Michael Cacoyannis” Foundation will focus on musical power and its influence on people’s lives.

The “Power of Music” tribute includes four films that will premiere in Greece (in Japanese with Greek and English subtitles). They are part of Japan’s “Touring Japanese Film Festival” by the Japan Foundation, in collaboration with the Japanese embassy.

The protagonists of different ages live in varying social surroundings in modern Japan. Through their adventures, they rediscover their lost self or deepen their relationships with the people around them, drawing strength and courage from music.

The festival will open with Miki Takahiro’s film, “Have a Song on Your Lips”.
