Forty people arrested in Thessaloniki in crackdown

Forty people were arrested in Thessaloniki in the last 24 hours as part of a crackdown on street crimes, police said on Saturday.

Fifteen people were arrested on drug related charges, while 14 were did not have the right paperwork to be legally in the country, police said. Additionally, three of the people had outstanding arrest warrants issued against them.
