Study to look at financing student housing

A study will be put together examining all the possible sources of finances that can pay for the construction of new student housing in a bid to help reduce accommodation problems for university students. This was decided in a meeting between Deputy Premier and Economy Minister Yiannis Dragasakis and the Deputy Rector of the University of Crete Constantinos Spanoudakis.

Dragasakis said that he was positive in tackling issues that relate to students and the education community as a whole and at the same time will contribute positively to the recovery of the construction sector.
