4.5 Richter earthquake hits area south of Crete

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit an area south of Crete at 15:42 on Friday, said the National Observatory of Athens. Its epicentre was located at an undersea area, south of Ierapetra. Five minutes later a second earthquake hit the same area, measuring 3.5 Richter.
