Five Greek startups attend The New Web conference in Amsterdam

Five Greek startups attended The Next Web (TNW) international technology conference in Amsterdam on Thursday and Friday through the Incubator of Startups (ThEA), an initiative of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the Region of Attica.

Startups Nanometrisis, Inagros, Trust & Use, Aqua Weather and Saint Startup shared a stand by ThEA, which was originally set up with funds from the European Regional Development Fund and the City of Athens in 2014.

A total of over 15,000 individuals paid a visit to the conference, including investors, mass media outlets, and technology managers to hear presentations by new and established companies and institutions, including Google, MIT, Reddit and the European Commission.

Attica Region was represented by the deputy regional directors of digital policy and culture, and the director of the region’s development fund.
