Equity prices were rising on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.89 percent standing at 635.45 points at 10.55 am and turnover at 1.87 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.87 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was marginally up 0.05 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Health (+2.94 percent) and in Banks (+1.99 percent). The heaviest losses were in Commerce (-0.64 percent) and in Telecoms (-0.50 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 28 were up, 13 were down and 7 were unchanged.
