Greek bond market closing report

Greek state bond prices remained under pressure for one more day in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Tuesday, hit by negative developments in Italy. The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds widened significantly to 3.92 pct form 3.67 pct on Monday, with the Greek bond yielding 4.34 pct and the German Bund yielding 0.42 pct. Turnover was 33 million euros, of which 23 million were sell orders.

In interbank markets, interest rates moved lower. The 12-month rate was -0.168 pct, the nine-month rate was -0.205 pct, the six-month rate was -0.264 pct, the three-month rate was -0.321 pct and the one-month rate was -0.372 pct.
