Greek bond market closing report

Greek state bond prices continued moving higher for the third successive session in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Tuesday, taking advantage of a positive climate prevailing in European markets. The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds eased to 3.65 pct from 3.81 pct on Monday, with the Greek bond yielding 4.08 pct (4.20 pct the previous day) and the German Bund yielding 0.43 pct. Turnover was 21 million euros of which 19 million were buy orders.

In interbank markets, interest rates were mixed. The 12-month rate was -0.168 pct, the nine-month rate was -0.209 pct, the six-month rate was -0.269 pct, the three-month rate was -0.317 pct and the one-month rate was -0.371 pct.
