Greek bond market closing report

The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds eased further to 3.48 pct in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Wednesday, from 3.51 pct the previous day, with the Greek bond yielding 3.99 pct -falling below the 4.0 pct level for the first time in several weeks – while the German Bund yielded 0.51 pct. Turnover was an improved 27 million euros, of which 22 million euros were buy orders.

In interbank markets, interest rates were mixed. The 12-month rate was -0.191 pct, the nine-month rate was -0.217 pct, the six-month rate was -0.270 pct, the three-month rate was -0.327 pct and the one-month rate was -0.372 pct.
